Plan for College and Career Readiness (CCR)
7th Grade

The CCR is a college and career readiness planning process that begins in 7th grade and continues throughout high school. The CCR process helps students develop their individual education and career plan and put it into writing. Through the CCR process, counselors help students get information about school, educational preparation, and career options. The counselors use Utah Futures a comprehensive website designed with tools, different inventories and an electronic portfolio that will be utilized every year between now and when your student graduates high school.

8th Grade

The CCR is a college and career readiness planning process that begins in 7th grade and continues throughout high school. In 8th grade CCR's, students meet individually with their counselor and parents to discuss their college and career plans after high school. The students also discover what courses they need to take in high school for their career or college plan, as well as scholarship and financial aid information. This is a great opportunity for the students to truly think about their goals for after high school.

9th Grade

Through the CCR process, counselors help students get information about school, educational preparation, and career options. 9th graders create a 4-year plan to prepare for the many opportunities that may present themselves in high school. Goals continue to be added to the student's electronic portfolio on Utah Futures The counselors equip each student with graduation requirements and ways to achieve different credits.
